FILE TYPES

We accept the following file types:

• Adobe Photoshop (.psd)
• Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps)
• Adobe InDesign (.indd)
• QuarkXpress (.qxd)
• Microsoft Publisher (.pub)
• EPS
• TIF
• PDF (High Resolution)

Please make sure that the fonts are either outlined or included with your files.

RESOLUTION

All files should be at least 300 dpi.

Images with a resolution less than 300 dpi will reproduce poorly on press (the image will look fuzzy and/or pixilated). If you took your images from a website on the internet, there is a 90% chance that they will not be a high enough resolution for printing.

COLOR FORMAT

Your color mode should be CMYK.

Offset printing presses print full color images using Cyan (blue), Magenta (red), Yellow and Black (CMYK). This is "4-color process" or "full-color". If you have not created your digital layout or design using CYMK color mode to begin with, at some point your RGB file must be translated to CMYK in order to print it on a printing press. When you convert from RGB to CMYK, please be aware that you will see a shift in you colors.

DIGITAL PRINT JOBS ONLY

When you send your digital print jobs, please set them multiple up on an 8.5 x 11. For example, if you are printing a 4.25” x 5.5” postcard, you would have 4-up on an 8.5” x 11”.

OFFSET PRINT JOBS ONLY - BLEED

If you offset job has a bleed, please add .25” to your file (.125” to each side). For example, if you are printing a 4”x6” card, your bleed size will be 4.25” x 6.25”.
